Great Price "Eureka 431F Optima Bagless Upright Vacuum Cleaner" for $59.69 Today
I've bought mine Eureka because our vacuum disappeared during moving from one town to another. Our flat is very small, so we didn't need anything big or fancy, just efficient. We've got this one from Target and it has a Good Housekeeping seal, which guarantees the product for 2 years and refunds your money in case of any problem. I've been using it for only 2 weeks (I vacuum everyday) and, so far, it's been working great: Lots of power, remove all hair from carpet - as someone else stated, it kind of changed the colour of the carpet; great for cleaning the vinyl tiles in the kitchen floor with a simple change of switches; great for vacuum small areas and details between furniture. Easy to clean and empty. Only time will tell if this was a longlasting good purchase. For a small flat, it also has the added benefit of being easy to store.

Buy a Hoover instead! - Cynthia Kaye - Washington
I purchased this vacuum from Target for a 14' x 17' room with high quality, well-padded, low-pile carpeting. It performed poorly. It has no height adjustment; manual or otherwise. The replaceable filter will likely need cleaned frequently, and it's truly a pain to clean between the crevices of said filter. The only thing I liked about the vacuum is the round comfortable handle. After researching more, I've decided to order the Hoover Nano Light Upright Compact Vacuum (Part #: U2440900W, available only from Wal-Mart), which at the time of this review has a 4.5 out of 5 star rating from 383 user reviews. The Hoover is basically the same size and type of lightweight vacuum, only with better features as it has a permanent washable filter, and a hose that will reach 20 feet - not to mention a few HUNDRED stellar reviews.

I purchased a Dyson at half price, got it home and vacuumed my wool carpet and it would not pick anything up off of it. So returned it and got this one and the carpet looks brand new now! This is my 2nd one of these Eureka Optimas and I loved the first one but the wheels fell off. I don't know what people are talking about when they say that it doesn't work on hardwood floors, are u sure u have it on the floor setting? I highly recommend this vacuum!
