This is the best vacuum I have ever owned. I thought I had cleaned my carpet well with my Hoover but I ran the Navigator ov er the same area and picked up half again as much dirt and the carpet even looked cleaner when I finished...it even picked the nap back up in the walkway.( which hasn't been up in a long time, even after shampooing.)It's easy to clean and light to handle, and the price is verrry right!

Decent vacuum but definately NOT recommended for a home with a lot of carpet OR homes with pets. Head is too narrow, takes a lot more passes to do the job. Brush length too short, I have to clean it before every vacuuming. Button to empty the canister is nice but you still have to remove by hand the hair or other particles that get twisted up inside so the 'never having to touch what you've vacuumed up' disclaimer is false. Please note: that is NOT a once in a while thing. It is every time I have to empty the canister. Also, canister fills MUCH too fast. Only reasons I did not return is because I do not have a lot of carpet (does great on throw rugs and bare floors) and it is lightweight (I hated dragging those heavy vacuums up my stairs).
